The month of May is recognized as Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month! During this month, especially, we celebrate Asians and Pacific Islanders and recognize their contributions to history and culture. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have made a large impact in a variety of areas including science and medicine, literature and art, sports and recreation, government and politics, and activism and law.
The theme for AAPI Heritage Month 2022 is “Advancing Leaders Through Collaboration” which encourages the inclusion of AAPI people in leadership positions to promote collaboration and diversity. Let’s celebrate Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and work towards a society that embraces different cultures and voices!
