January is National Stalking Awareness Month ( NSAM)!Stalking is one of the most sinister forms of abuse, causing a person to feel unsafe. All people deserve to feel safe and protected – whether in their home, at work or school, online, or in any other public or private spaces.
Common stalking behaviors include unwanted contact, spreading rumors, following/spying, showing up places, waiting for the victim, leaving gifts and many more.
Stalking is real. It can happen to anyone. It’s dangerous. It’s a crime. Learn more at the Stalking Resource Center
