As part of addressing the need for
long-term community change Manavi reaches out to the South
Asian community in the NY/NJ area. By participating in community
events, festivals and celebrations Manavi tries to raise awareness
and break the silence about the prevalence of violence against
women in the South Asian communities in the US.
