Interpretation & Accompaniments

Advocates may accompany women to various agencies (e.g. hospitals, courts, and/or police departments) to offer support and provide translation or interpretation. Explanations about policies and procedures often becomes necessary for women who are working within the U.S. legal, immigration, or healthcare systems for the first time.
